Well hey Fit-Fam….Its been almost 4 weeks since I last posted a progress update with my weightloss….There really are no VALID excuses but as a PhD student I had over 100 pages worth of finals, so long story short…..I SLACKED big time!
Today’s weigh in is successful…although I should technically be farther along if I hadnt forfieted 3 weeks of movement for classes….I am officially 147.5lbs!!!! Down 1.1lbs from my last official post.
I have been kicking it back in gear after turning in my last final:) At first I was a bit down for losing those weeks, but the reality is I maintained my weight during that time and also know that life just gets hectic sometimes. I didn’t forget what I had commissioned for myself in 2013 and just hopped back on board when the time came. For those joining me….ALWAYS REMEMBER IT IS A PROCESS….IF YOU FALL DOWN, GET BACK UP. I read this AMAZING quote the other day…..
IF YOU ARE TIRED OF STARTING OVER….STOP GIVING UP!!!!

It’s weigh in Thursday folks….and drumroll please………………………I am down 4.8lbs!!!!!! What-tha-What!!! lol I had to weigh myself like 3-4 times to believe that scale actually said 148.6lbs. That officially puts me at 30.2lbs lost in 14 weeks!!!!
Starting Weight in January 2013: 178.8
Current Weight April 2013: 148.6
Ultimate Goal Weight: 135
I am not sure what the big change was this week other than changing my workout a little. I was burning about 700-1000 calories everyday—minus Sunday. I tried to up my water intake (not only for the weight loss but also because the Georgia pollen is kicking my butt) I guess that new routine shocked my body and the weight I didn’t lose last week came off this week. Hey, I’ll take it!!!
I am now 13.6lbs from my ultimate goal weight!!! my first goal was 150 and I have now reached that! I totally cannot believe I finally got this thing right….NOW THE HARD PART…IS TO KEEP IT GOING. For those who have ever lost a lot of weight before I am in that stage where everyone is gasping at the weight I have lost and encouraging me to not lose anymore….which is how I stopped the last time and ended up gaining all that weight back. My goal this time around is to be FIT and TONED…so I will not be distracted, I will keep pushing for a better me that I’m satisfied with! For those on this journey with me…..keep pushing, stay consistent, and know that in time, IT WILL COME. That’s all for now.
